I am trying to upgrade the program (TinyPortal) that shows all of the boxes on the left side of the main page, you know, the "Shout box", calendar, and other little boxes.

However, I was able to successfully remove the old version, but not able to upgrade to the new version. So, until I can get it fixed, we won't have those boxes on the left.  Huh
ugh sorry. hope to figure it out soon.

I am not a computer expert, but the chat room thing seems to be the least used feature of the site.  If it is a space issue, I think we could all live without the chat, but it is probably part of the package.  Just an observation, not trying to be a wisenheimer.  You both do a great job to keep this going. I think chat is seperate....FWIW, I go into chat when I see you fools logged on but no one comes to play. We've hads some pretty good chat nights in the past, think it heats up with the weather.

I too am trapped in cyberspace. Wink  This is one way to keep members from exiting.  Should be a really high amount of members online as the days go on.

yeah i know. can't log out. can't view profile. blah blah whine whine. heheh

No, it's not a matter of space at all. Just a matter of the uninstall package not working, so I manually removed the 'program'. Then, the install package doesn't flippin work either. GRRR. So now, I have to manually add it back. It's probably 2 hrs of solid work, editing files. I will try to do it soon. I hate upgrading this site. Always sucks the life out of my day. So much for a day off yesterday hehe
